Star Sapphire and pearl pendant

Description

Hat pendant design from John the Fearless, Burgundian Duke  late 14th early 15th century.

This piece is set with a beautiful big Blue Sapphire cabochon (weighing 13ct) which also shows a light, weak star when in direct strong light.

Measures approximately 3cm including bail and comes complete with an 18 inch diamond cut belcher chain.
